We are pleased to announce the return of Perservering Pride's former prodigy, Javier Fabián Maya, who spent his first 10 seasons with the team before being sold for a club-record fee of $3,515,300 in Season 59.
Maya was drafted in Season 50 and purchased for a then-club-record rookie fee of $1,317,700 and developed into a defensive stalwart who led the Mexico U21 in assists and was third in points scored during Season 53. He was also the star of the Season 58 Persevering Pride squad alongside club legend Jeffrey McClellan, which limited opponents to only 65.1 ppg throughout the season, competed in Division II for the first time, and advanced to the finals that year.
Since his departure, Maya has played at the highest level in Mexico, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkiye, England, and Lithuania, and has experience playing and competing against the best in BuzzerBeater's Best competitions.
