Forward Search Update

Eclypze is very excited to announce the acquisition of Ruel Javier, an incredibly talented PF who hails from the Philippines. Ruel is a silky smooth jump shooting big man, who brings a versatile game and is a workhorse on defense. He is expected to create severe mismatch problems on the offensive end while dominating his man on the defensive end. At 25 years of age he will be getting some spot 2-position training, so he still has room to improve.

Despite already being the best player on the team, Smedlock claims that Javier is not the franchise forward the team is looking to acquire discussed in last week's press release. Instead Smedlock see's Javier being the second option to the star SF the team is still planning on acquiring. Smedlock had this to say, "Javier is a great player and we imagine will be an all-star player for many years to come. But I would like to let Eclypze fans know that we still plan on acquiring a dominate SF this season, so the search is still on. Right now we have a surplus of elite prospects. We plan on selling two of these prospects later in the season with which we will use to acquire a player who will be even better than most NBBA small forwards. While we have been known as a franchise that frequently buys and sell players, we believe that these forwards, along with Eugene Smith and Arnolds Dalins, will be the building blocks of a great team for many seasons to come."
