Fans Accuse Eugene Smith of Ballhogging in Playoff Loss

Despite scoring 72 points, Eugene Smith is taking much of the blame for the playoff upset by underdog Super T-Rex. Cleveland bookies were putting Eclypze as 12 point favorites over Super T-Rex. When Eclypze ended up losing by 20, fans were furious. "I bet my life savings on that game!" Connie Mcintyre cried out. "If that damn ball hog Eugene Smith would of passed the ball around more, shared the wealth a bit, we could have won that game! Eugene only made 9 of his 14 three pointer attempts but instead he could have passed the ball to Simon Kondor. I saw him make 100% of his shots during the warmup!"

Team president Smedlock had this to say about Connie Mcintyre's tirade, "that's just Connie, he's always getting upset about one thing or another. I don't blame him, life is tough under that bridge he lives. But he should have known better than betting on Eclypze. While Eclypze may have been the better team on paper, Super T-Rex was surely the stronger team. That was a sucker's bet he took, and we surely didn't lose the game because of Eugene. I know he had 0 assists, but were it not for him, it would have been an even larger blow out. As for Kondor, he's a great ball hawk and defensive player, but three point shooting? He only shot .111 this season from the three."
