Eclypze Files Lawsuit Against Eugene Register Guard

In a stunning turn of events Eclypze has filed a libel lawsuit against Eugene owner Hassan Donnelly. In recent weeks Hassan has slandered Eclypze owner Smedlock calling him a "madman" and spreading false rumors that Eclyzpe has "secret medical labs" and that Smedlock sold his pet cocker spaniel Scotty, which is blatantly untrue.

Smedlock had this to say about the lawsuit, "we believe Hassan was upset about our unwillingness to part with Connie McIntyre. Frankly, we were perfectly willing to trade Connie to the right team but we believe Eugene is on the verge of bankruptcy and this was a desperation move on their part. We had doubts as to whether Eugene could meet Connie's $800 weekly salary. Connie has 12 kids to take care of and quite simply we would never leave one of our players out to dry like that. We show loyalty to our players and treat them well, not like penny pinching Hassan. This unprofessional outburst of slander and false rumors targeting our organization just shows how desperate he is."
