Smedlock called this "the steal of the century". For the pauper's sum of 400k, Eclypze has acquired Magnis Auklinš, an immensely talented Latvian big man. "I have gotten some great deals on players before, but I think this was the best one yet," Smedlock said after the acquisition. "The team wasn't even shopping for players at the moment but we just stumbled into this deal. Magnis has a unique skill set with a combination of outside and inside skills. We feel he fits in perfectly with the training plans of our two forwards, The Nemesis and Eugene Smith. Although he has a big weakness with his poor stamina, I expect him to be on the team for a long time. The front line of the future is taking shape."
