Back to the Drawing Board

For the third season in a row, Eclypze was crunch timed and knocked out in the early round of the playoffs. Respect to Toronto who did it two seasons in a row, but with crunch time halving their enthusiasm, it is hard to imagine them advancing much further in the playoffs. Eclypze struggled with Toronto all season long, barely beating them earlier in the season with a miraculous fourth quarter comeback. In this game, despite having homecourt advantage, Eclypze was never in the game and many players had pitiful performances.

The truth is this is a pretty tough division and we are not that much stronger than the other playoff teams in this league as our 20-2 record would indicate, and in the case of the Traptors perhaps not better at all. Either that or we just don't match up well with them.

After keeping a roster intact longer than any other season in the history of the team, major changes are afoot once again and many players will be shipped out and new ones coming in. The team may also make a big splash in the draft this year, looking to acquire a young franchise player to give the team a new identity that it hasn't had since the loss of Nemesio Xermade.

FYI - a CT in the playoffs does NOT half ENT - it behaves like a regular season NORM, while Playoff NORM gives the TIE bonus, but plays at a NORM intensity.

is there any drop in intensity from playing CT in playoff? We both got beat by a team we otherwise would of beat pretty easy I think had we both played on the same level

Yeah, it seems like it makes a big difference. My team wasn't even close that game and I had a lot of enthusiasm and home court advantage.
