Horacio Requests Trade

Several months ago we reported how superstar Horacio Saiz Perez reunited with his long lost gypsy brother, Barbu Popescu, from Romania. They have both played inspired basketball, leading Eclypze to Division Four. But now Horacio would like to be traded, specifically to a European club so he can be closer to his family in Romania. Horacio has expressed a desire to get to know his family and it is hard for him to do so playing in the United States. Some fans have claimed his brother Barbu joined the club to convince Horacio to move to Europe. Some even see a sinister side to Barbu's intentions, that his real goal was to get a piece of Horacio's hefty $7,000 a week salary. We will leave such speculation to the fans but now it is time to move on.

We will regret losing such a talented young player like Horacio. The Eclypze ball club will be actively searching for a talented player to hopefully replace the production that Horacio has brought. Specifically we would like to find a young American center or power forward.

In other news we would like to welcome Alexey Detochkin, member of the Belarus Junior National team, Gerhardt "Frankenstein" Rittenberg and our newest Spanish rookie, Juan "lil' phenom" Ruete. More about these players in future press releases, stay tuned...
