Fans Exasperated At Owner Selling Off Players Again

Not satisfied with a 4-4 start, team owner Smedlock has yet again put the entire team up for sale with exception of The Nemesis and a handful of other players. Many fans were just starting to become fond of some of the new players that were acquired a month ago. Chad Smith was a tough PF who many thought would be on the team for a long time. With his hustle up and down the court and his trademark afro flopping all over the place, he was a fan favorite and led to a large increase in Eclypze merchandising. Sybb Van Grieken, the Dutch import, was a talented veteran who went toe to toe with many of the monster centers in this division and held his own.

Asked to explain his actions, Smedlock at first declined to comment but after some persistence by the press staff had the following to say: "there are quite a few great young American players who will be hitting the market this month and we want to be in position to acquire one or two of these players. Eclypze fans don't worry, I guarantee we won't relegate this season." Bold statements from a bold owner, we will have to wait and see what tricks he has up his sleeve.

Forget about it! Soon #23 will be retired and hang in the rafters for future generations of Eclypze fans to ponder the greatness that is Connie McIntyre.
