General Manager Pappy ODaniel and his lovely wife Connie, Coach Joe McCauley and the Dog River Riverdogs would like to extend to all their fans their best wishes for a wonderful holiday season: From the USA players—Ernie "Lights Out" Blanton, Danny "The Enforcer" Justice, Freddy "The Hammer" Davila, Jose "The Old Man" Nickerson, Luther "Sweet Lou" Huston, and Captain Ray "RC" Chad—and from the Englishman, Michael "Mad Dog" Frame: Merry Christmas! From the young Chinese Wang Shijia: Kung His Hsin Nien Bing Shen Tan! From the "Italian Stallions," Antonio Polvani and Gianvito Cucija: Buone Feste Natalizie! Morics "Mo" Ernestsons gives his long—and totally unverifiable—Latvian greeting: Prieci'gus Ziemsve'tkus un Laimi'gu Jauno Gadu! From Lithuania comes Juris Martinionis' greeting: Linksmu Kaledu! and last, but certainly not least, from the Riverdogs newest player, Spaniard Victor "Luke" Lucena: Feliz Navidad! The Riverdogs will host Trombe BC tonight at the Dog Kennel and leave right after the game for a short Christmas trip to—and scrimmage in—Kazakhstan. Pappy wanted to extend his heartfelt thanks to all the great Riverdog fans, not only in Dog River, but throughout the world!
