Ray Chad

Owner Pappy ODaniel today announced the sale of PF-C Ray Chad to the Italian Altrove Vampires team. Chad, the 7-foot Wisconsin-Eau Claire Little All American, has been with the Dogs since its first game and has served as team captain the last three seasons. When Ray first approached Pappy this week and asked to be traded, Pappy said that he would help however he could. It didn't take long for a trade to be made today. But because the Vampires had already played today, Pappy received permission for Ray's departure to be delayed until tomorrow. So tonight at the Riverdog's home game with Da Dynasty, Ray Chad's #51 jersey will be retired as he becomes the first inductee into the Dog River Riverdog's Hall of Fame. Ray's teammates are hoping to send him off with a rousing celebration—and hopefully, a big win—tonight.
