Press Announcements

All Star Selections

The Riverdogs' PR Manager Nail Amsallem is pleased to announce League III.5's All-Star selections for Season 21. Garnering the highest number of votes at 93098—Failboat's fine PG Cordell Hckett was second with nearly 89K—is Dog River's 32 year old veteran C Edward "Easy Ed" Williams. With per game averages of 20.4 points and 11.8 rebounds, Williams will be making his 9th ASG appearance.

The Riverdogs also have two players selected for the Great 8 team as backups: 24 year old Jose Elieche, leading the league with 15.8 rebounds per game and adding 15.7 ppg, was selected as the backup PF, while 25 year old versatile PG/SG Malcolm Key—averages of 8.2 ppg, 5.5 rpg and 5.0 assists per game—made the squad as the backup to Hackett. Both Elieche and Key will be making their first ASG appearances.

Thanks, Jason, for the encouragement. This is a very tough III league with some high-quality teams, so only time will tell if we can make a good run to the title.

Thanks, Coach, for the encouragement. I hope that you are right! We "Dogs"—or "Dawgs"—have to stick together!
